My dear friend, kindly allow me to tell you a story that is expected to navigate and maneuver its paths eventually to end in glory, beauty and benefits by the grace of God.
For some years now, I have observed a particular person who was and still is so hard-hearted, that even the cosmos had to act to redirect her pathways but yet unrepentant. There is no tangible understanding whenever anyone tries to make sense of the exhibitions of the weird behavior and deeds especially why some people can be and/or are seemingly or really under strange possession of oppression. And for this story, Sincerely I still wonder why this person, who can also show kindness and care, stubbornly portrays and acts as if she can not be converted into righteousnessb of soul and character?
In search of answers, I found a solution in the Scriptures to deal with such matters of a heart of stone; of demon-possessed oppression suppression and afflictions of a child of God who has to be redeemed, sanctified and empowered by the grace of God to receive the peace of God.
Nevertheless, strange as it may seem, it can also be told as a story of the redemption, mercy, grace, and forgiveness provided by a covenant-keeping God – Jehovah, to whom agreements of prayer of faith and so on do eternally hold, and to whom many people, including myself, have prayed and still pray, as we engage divinity for the salvation of such people with stony hearts, just as we once were.
Now the story. I met one particular person in my life who was and still is so hard-hearted that the cosmos had to intervene to attempt to change the course of cunning, wickedness and possibly witchcrafty manifestations. Interestingly, whenever someone tries to explain, out of Scriptures and Spirituality, the reasons for the displays of the many bizarre thoughts, behaviours and actions, especially when this person is under strange possession or repression, one can be assured that there will be no concrete understanding.
Sincerely, I sometimes on thinking about ot encountering this person, continue to be perplexed as to why such a good looking person persists in portraying and acting as though the soul cannot be converted to righteousness, until I recollect the strong man of a soul must first be bound before liberty can becomea reality.
So, To understand and deal with issues like people with a heart of stone – bad character, sadness, anger, bitterness and rage even out of envy and hatred, oppression by demons, suppression, and sufferings of a child of God by wickedness and witchcraft-related evils, who must be redeemed, sanctified, and enabled by God’s mercy, I searched and discovered a solution in the Scriptures.
What does Ezekiel 36:26 – “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh” – actually mean to someone who is desiring to transform his or her heart of stone, stubbornness, and sin? I have come to understand that in order for everyone to receive, hold onto, develop, and grow in their blessings, personalities, characters, and accomplishments, certain protocols and rules for following the precepts of salvation—such as sovereignty, security, success, separation, sanctification, segmentation, serendipity, and serenity—must be appropriately accessed, understood, and handled by the wisdom of a fleshy heart of a man with those qualities—must be handled by that man.
It must be appropriately accessed, comprehended, and handled by a man with fleshly heart who exhibits christlike behavior, attitude, attributes, sound mind, and high character, even in his words, thoughts, and acts. But other individuals have “hearts of stone,” which are essentially “hearts of sin, disobedience, unrighteousness, lack of faith, hope, and love.” However, when someone is redeemed and sanctified by God’s mercy and is able to change their heart of stone to a heart of flesh by grace, commitment, anointing, obedience, submission, and other means, there is divine provision for resolutions and solutions (Proverbs 21:1-9).
So, in order to create and improve on one’s greatness of virtues, values, and achievements in life, among other things, the following qualities in a person with a heart of flesh must be improved, and basically in this essence: 1. Obedience, 2. Selflessness, Faithfulness, 4. Love, Self-Control, 5. Satisfaction, 6. Contentment, 7. Sound mind and Justice, 8. Humility, honesty and diligence, 9. Righteousness Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. Pray!
