It was revealed to me that God honours some people by providing them with salvation, access to land and opportunities aka the “SLO-Mandate”, in addition to other things. God, however, grants people favour in order for them to be saved. And to the faith, reason, and logic of any person’s mind and decision, this divine favour imparts the life, love, and light of salvation.
Just the same way that we may confidently assert that the joy, peace, and grace of salvation all contribute to or register the glory of man, so too are the attitude, willpower, and methods for the beauty and advantages of salvation produced by the human spirit and the Holy Spirit. To be saved to be blessed, however, you must “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” as instructed in the Bible.
Thus my advice – whenever you have to do something in this life that will have personal, family and generational effects, and bring much relevance and legacy to people and things, please you must sometimes deny yourself of pleasantries and comfort while keeping in mind and considering three things of great influence to everyone:
1. Generational acts, 2. Personal and Family acts, and 3. Acts of one’s associates, colleagues, and friends, among others. Therefore, if you are really considering the wisdom, status and favour (Luke 2 vs 51-52) of the generations before you, and those that will come after you to be in greatness, then please keep in mind these words too, which were once said by a preacher in America and are frequently repeated by Prof. Stephen Addae:
“1. Read yourself full, 2. Pray yourself hot, 3. Let yourself go” on the virtues, values and victories of life’s salvation in all of its pure forms and dimensions (Prov 21:31). Pray!
